Ambassidor

Welcome to Eric's Ambassador Page.

This page marks the inception of my dream, a foundation laid with dedication and passion during my tenure as a student ambassador for RMIT and a media ambassador for WCP and Hoa Hoc Tro newspaper. In these roles, I have not only contributed to the vibrant community of RMIT but have also played a pivotal role in shaping narratives and disseminating valuable information through esteemed media platforms.

RMIT - Student Ambassador Team

"Throughout my nearly 2-year odyssey with SAT, I've not only played diverse roles but have also woven my own tapestry of experiences:

Embarking on my journey with SAT-Group 2, my primary responsibility is guiding campus tours for high school students, new enrollees, and parents eager to unravel the intricacies of our school. Beyond comprehending the academic landscape, this role demands a blend of courage and unbridled enthusiasm when sharing the school's essence with our visitors.

SAT's activities unfold like a vivid tapestry, including daily campus tours for regular days, high-school tours for student delegation days, and event tours for grand school occasions. The tangible outcomes of each such tour translate into accrued experience points and meal vouchers, albeit exclusively redeemable within the school's confines.

Having spent over a year immersed in the vibrancy of Group - 2, leading and befriending many bright faces, a bittersweet truth unfolds—I often struggle to recall these wonderful souls when we chance upon each other within the familiar hallways of our school.

The camaraderie among team members is heartwarming, a testament to SAT being not just an organization but a close-knit haven within the expansive embrace of RMIT. My heart swells with gratitude for being a cherished part of this tight-knit community."

Making the decision to transition from Group 2 to Group 1 brought about a significant shift in my role. As I made this move, my focus gradually pivoted from logistics to a more concentrated involvement in communications, taking on responsibilities as a cameraman and MC SAT - Group 1, being a communications-centric group, offered a new canvas for me to paint my passion.

In this dynamic environment, I found myself wearing various hats – from being an MC to taking on the roles of photographer and photo editor. Additionally, I had the privilege of contributing to the school's fan page "RMIT SGS Student Ambassador."

While the team size may be smaller, the demand for specialized skills is more pronounced. This shift requires a heightened proficiency in crafting compelling content, adept image management, and the confidence to address a sizable audience. It's an exhilarating journey where I not only adapt to new roles but also deepen my engagement with the intricate art of effective communication.
